When it comes to hosting for the holidays, I think it’s super important to have a variety of drinks for your guests. A Holiday Prosecco bar is a fun and festive way to allow guests to make their own drink while keeping it simple. Do you prefer cranberry juice over OJ? Or maybe skip the juice all together and enjoy the prosecco on its own with a garnish? No problem! Setting up a bar with options allows your guests to sip their drink how they like it.
For the Holiday Prosecco Bar, make sure you have enough bottles of the Bread & Butter Prosecco DOC chilled. I love this Prosecco as an option because it’s a quality Prosecco you can find in a variety of stores, and the flavor profile is perfect for sipping on its own or mixing with a bit of juice. In addition to the Prosecco, you will also need:
- Cranberry Juice, Orange Juice and Apple Cider for mixers. Another fun juice during the holidays could be pear juice!
- Fresh cranberries, orange slices, thyme, pomegranate seeds, and rosemary for garnishing. You could also use pear or apple slices.
Once you’ve gathered all of your ingredients, it’s time to set up the bar! This could work on a bar cart or any kind of table space. If you’d like to add an extra festive touch, try making a wine chiller ice mold! For mine, I just added cranberries and rosemary to the mold. Then fill it with filtered water so it freezes nice and clear. Allow it to freeze for 10 hours or overnight, then use it to display your Prosecco! Not only does this look beautiful but it also keeps your wine chilled. Have fun with the holiday decorating and don’t forget to grab a glass for yourself!
