Nestled between two mountain ranges, the Napa Valley offers diverse microclimates and soils that are uniquely suited to growing powerful yet elegant Cabernet Sauvignon. Home to historic vineyards, the Rutherford AVA is famous for its deep alluvial fans that produce rich and compelling Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is grown in well-drained, gravelly soils along the Silverado Trail in the southern part of the AVA.
