Bread & Butter Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon

2019 ATLAS PEAK CABERNET SAUVIGNON

This Cabernet offers lovely, soft aromas of black cherry, blackberry and boysenberry with hints of tobacco and licorice. The lush fruit flavors are layered with notes of coffee, chocolate and cinnamon. Delicate tannins lead to the long, evolving finish.

Atlas Peak is a celebrated micro-AVA within the larger Napa Valley AVA. This wine comes from a single vineyard above the fogline that experiences a significant diurnal shift, very warm days and very cool nights. This allows the grapes to ripen fully while retaining high acidity. Known for its volcanic, rocky and well-drained soils that produce small, concentrated grape clusters, Atlas Peak produces Cabernet Sauvignons that impress enthusiasts across the globe.

Deep garnet colored, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Atlas Peak charges out with bold crème de cassis, blackberry pie and fruitcake scents, plus nuances of potpourri and unsmoked cigars. Big, concentrated, and full-bodied, the palate has a zippy line of freshness and grainy tannins supporting the generous fruit preserves flavors, finishing long and spicy.”
